Bioinformatics Summer School is an annual event for 100 undergraduate & postgraduates students from Mathematics, Computer Science, Biology, and Medicine majors interested in Bioinformatics.

About
Bioinformatics Summer School is organised annualy by Bioinformatics Institute in the end of July in St. Petersburg or Moscow, Russia. The key topic of this year is Data Mining.

It is a unique opportunity for students and early stage researchers to learn about cutting edge frontiers of Bioinformatics and discuss it right away with invited experts and leading scientists. The School's working language is Russian.
    Program
    The Summer School intensive 6-day program is divided into two tracks: Bioinformatics for Biologists and Bioinformatics for Computer Scientists. It includes lectures from well known scientists, workshops series and a hackathon – working in interdisciplinat teams on real research projects under the supervision of senior bioinformaticians. Participants also can submit an abstract and give a short talk about their research on one day conference session.

      Venue & Dates
      The Summer School will be held on July, 31 – August, 5, 2017 at Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (Dolgoprudniy, Moscow Region, Russia).
        Registration fees
        Participants are to pay a registration fee of 18k rubles. The registration fee covers all the expenses: accommodation, meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner), coffee breaks, transfer to the venue, and materials. Scholarsips that cover all the expenses will be provided by organizers and sponsors for an outstanding applications.

        Organisers do not offer any travel grants. We encourage you to apply for such grants in your local universities.
